 Chapter 1 of Yakuza 0 on PlayStation 4 (PS4) begins at night, somewhere in the alley of Pink Street North, Kamurocho, Japan. You're playing as Kiryu Kazuma on a hurry with his sworn brother Nishiki approached by a foreign guy, named Bacchus.


Bacchus went on to lecture Kiryu on how important to invest on his fighting ability, the Brawler style. Kiryu unleashes blue aura around his shoulder, which cemented firm and calmness when encountering the enemies.


Regarded as the closest to Kiryu's true battle style throughout the entire Yakuza 0. Also, the term Brawler implies special countering ability on enemies and boss battles. You're able to absorbs those punches when an instant flash red triggers for retaliation on the enemy using either square, triangle or circle button. Another amazing yet effective way of fighting in Kamurocho streets which saves button-mashing.


Who is Bacchus?


Bacchus is a former boxing trainer and loves to wander around Kamurocho, racking up debt. He saw the potential or in Yakuza 0 terms, a "monster" in Kiryu Kazuma, after witnessing him defeating a pair of drunkards, to become one of the best fighters. So, as a result, he offers to train him at the Tenkaichi Alley later in the main story.


Five Special Training Lessons


You'll be facing daily underworld tasks, encountering thugs, Yakuzas and Men In Black to loot some cash for level-up on Brawler style abilities. After upgrading your abilities, Bacchus will teach you five special moves throughout the Yakuza 0, bearing in mind that you must be at Level 3 Heat mode:


Extra Resolute Counter


First lesson, you'll learn on the key to brawling by charging up your Resolute Counter, holding down an attack button, and charged counter to knock the enemy out.


Essence of Face Twisting


The second lesson, you'll learn on the essence of breaking down defense using face twisting by pressing triangle. You'll twist the enemy's face while blocking from your attack.


Essence of Disarming


Timing is absolute essential in this lesson to get this right against the blade-wielding enemies. You'll need to anticipate for the enemy's charge with his knife. Then, press the triangle button swiftly to perform this epic move.


Essence of Wall Smashing


For this lesson, you'll need to position yourself backed up against a wall. Then, press triangle to perform this finishing move. Kiryu will lock on the enemy's foot and smash it with his elbow to give him an unforgettable painful experience.


Essence of Finishing Blows


The final and coolest heat action training. You'll start by performing a combo of pressing square, square, square, triangle for the enemy to fall. Then, quickly tap triangle to perform a finishing move after that combo. Kiryu will do a flying
